What is Nadi Astrology?

Nadi Astrology is a form of Vedic astrology that is based on the belief that the past, present, and future lives of all individuals have been recorded on ancient palm leaves or manuscripts called “Nadis”. These Nadis are believed to have been written by ancient sages and seers in India thousands of years ago, and they contain detailed information about every individual’s life, including their birth chart, their past and future karma, and predictions about their future.

According to Nadi astrology, the Nadis are classified based on the thumbprint of the individual seeking a reading, and each Nadi is said to have its own unique set of predictions and remedies. The Nadi reader uses the thumbprint of the individual to locate the appropriate Nadi manuscript and then reads the predictions and remedies written in it.

Nadi astrology is popular in some parts of India and has gained some popularity in other parts of the world as well. However, it is also a controversial practice, and some skeptics question the authenticity and accuracy of the Nadis and the methods used by the Nadi readers.

What Are the Types of Nadi Astrology?

There are various types of Nadi Astrology based on the region and language in which they are practiced. Here are some of the most popular types:

1. Vaitheeswaran Koil Nadi: This is one of the most popular and widely known types of Nadi astrology, and it originates from a temple in Tamil Nadu, India. The Nadi manuscripts in this type are written in Tamil and are classified based on the individual’s thumb impression.

2. Agastya Nadi: This type of Nadi astrology is named after the sage Agastya and is practiced in some parts of South India. The Nadi manuscripts in this type are written in Tamil and are classified based on the individual’s thumb impression.

3. Suka Nadi: This type of Nadi astrology is named after the sage Suka and is practiced in some parts of North India. The Nadi manuscripts in this type are written in Sanskrit and are classified based on the individual’s birth details.

4. Koushika Nadi: This type of Nadi astrology is named after the sage Koushika and is practiced in some parts of North India. The Nadi manuscripts in this type are written in Sanskrit and are classified based on the individual’s thumb impression.

5. Bhrighu Nandi Nadi: Bhrigu Nandi Nadi is popular in some parts of India and is considered to be one of the most accurate and comprehensive types of Nadi astrology. However, it is also a controversial practice, and some skeptics question the authenticity and accuracy of the Nadi manuscripts and the methods used by the Nadi readers.

Each type of Nadi astrology has its own unique set of predictions and remedies, and the method of accessing the Nadi manuscripts may also differ slightly. However, the basic principle of Nadi astrology remains the same, which is that the past, present, and future of an individual are recorded on ancient palm leaves or manuscripts.

What is Bhrigu Nandi Nadi (BNN)?

Bhrigu Nandi Nadi is a type of Nadi astrology that is said to have originated from the sage Bhrigu, who is believed to be one of the seven great sages (Saptarishis) in Hindu mythology. Bhrigu Nandi Nadi is a unique type of Nadi astrology as it combines the principles of Vedic astrology with the Nadi system.

According to Bhrigu Nandi Nadi, the predictions for an individual’s life are based on the placement of planets in the birth chart and the effects of past life karma. The system uses the concept of “Nadiamsa”, which divides each sign of the zodiac into 150 equal parts, to determine the position of planets and their effects on an individual’s life.

The Bhrigu Nandi Nadi system also classifies individuals into seven categories based on their past life karma and the effects it has on their current life. These categories are Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra, Antya, Madhya, and Adham. Each category has its own set of predictions and remedies.

Unlike other types of Nadi astrology, the Bhrigu Nandi Nadi system does not rely on the individual’s thumbprint to locate the appropriate Nadi manuscript. Instead, the system uses the individual’s birth details such as date, time, and place of birth to locate the relevant Nadi manuscript.

Feature of Bhrighu Nandi Nadi

1. Bhrigu Nandi Nadi is an ancient and authentic Nadi Grantha very popular in South India.

2. Clear indications can be obtained about the prospects in an educational and professional career, foreign travels, financial positions at various stages of life, and longevity.

3. Whatever the Ascendant, with the help of this method, all about parents, brothers, sisters, wife, and children, about past, present, and future in precise terms can be ascertained.

4. The precise timing of events. The general happenings in life have been predicted on the basis of the dispositions of the planets at the time of birth.

5. All that has to be done is to pick out from more than 500 birth charts, the one in which the disposition of the planets tally with those contained in one’s own horoscope.

6. The utility of this method is enhanced by the specific remedial measures prescribed for protection from the malevolent planetary influences responsible for tragedies in life.

7. The grammar of this astrology is completely different from traditional astrology, in BNN, events occur when one planet interacts with another.

8. The combination rule is different here as well.

9. The timing of the event is done by transit and progression. No Dasha system is used here.

10. After completing this basic course, students will be able to make amazing predictions from the birth charts without using Vimshotori Dasha.
