A Very Happy New Year to all

I have been reading the magazine since its inception. I have no hesitation in saying that the standard has not only been maintained but it has been consistently improved. A good number of little known, unique and interesting concepts have been brought out in the magazine for which I am sure much effort and research must have been put in. My best wish at the start of a new year of publication.

Dear Sir,
I think making a digital astro-magazine is a very good idea, and by making it available for free you are most certainly doing good service to astrology, and this effort should be saluted.
I have read a number of good and well-written articles in your magazine and these articles no doubt serves as great inspiration to many people. So keep up the good work.
Your magazine could however be improved if its basic concept was narrowed down a bit. It is too ambitious as it is and much too long.
In my opinion a more critical approach toward the quality of the articles is needed regarding research, relevance etc. I seriously think You should get rid of the articles about western astrology and focus on Hindu astrology. If the magazine wants to be a Jack-of-all-trades, then it may end up being a Jack-of-no-trades, which is not in the interest of anybody.

Dear Finn,
As a friend of ours since many years thanks for your kind comments of encouragement, it means a lot to the team, to our writers and volunteers. Your comments are well taken and we take this as an opportunity to address issues raised by you and others here in a humble manner.

Regarding making it only Hindu astrology, many concepts in Western Astrology does open our minds which is a lacking in todays indian astro students. As you know modern research in Progressions in Western astrology is one of the most superior techniques that Indian Astrology should not avoid.
Saptarishis means Seven Sages or Seven ArchAngels which are there in every culture so astrology for each culture is different, focused and also broad at the same time, you would agree. Out of the box thinking and accepting different systems and cultures is the need of the hour hence Saptarishis Astrology must remain a Jack of No trades though we are tempted to make it only hindu astrology at times considering the distance between mumbai and the west. We are told that Hellinistic Astrology will bridge the gap between Vedic and Western astrology and we await Rob Hand to bring out more on that to explore more.

Regarding the size of the magazine yes it is the complain & suggestion of many. Saturn (discipline and hard work) is one of the key planets which makes one an astrologer but this planet in regards to astrologers have been ignored so far. In Hindu Astrology there are 3000 basic classic books in Sanskrit & Hindi, then some 2000 books written in last 100 years and minimum 30,000 manuscripts gathering dust which libraries would not part with copies easily . To study this would take time and space, an average client assumes that his/her astrologer has read and mastered all the available material before he goes to the astrologer. Whereas these days in last 15 years most astrologers have read 100-200 books in total before he begins practicing astrology. It is due to the sheer size of literature not read so far that scares us as to what is the state of astrology students these days before they venture out practising or writing on forums and this instigation via the size of our magazine (translation of manuscripts that we have started) to visit as many classics as possible is the aim of Saptarishis Astrology.
Re Quality of the magazine it infact should be reduced and as mentioned in earlier Volumes we are trying to reduce the quality so that new entrants in this science can read and benefit out of Saptarishis Astrology.

Some of the secrets of astrology are with you, which if not revealed Indian Astrologers will never ever get it and we once again request you with folded hands to write articles on it.

Love & Light

You have my enduring admiration and respect for your continued development of the Saptarishi’s Astrology E-magazine, the best online publication by far of any available today. Apart from the unique content of the magazine, which far surpasses the typical mediocrity of journals on Jyotish on the market today, you also have deeply honored your guru in whose memory you have invested so much energy and love with this publication. Try to proceed keeping in mind the limitations of energy both physically and mentally, however, as by experience the literary projects that have the greatest longevity are the ones that are developed gradually. As is frequently said, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”

With best wishes and warm regards,

Robert,
Many thanks for your kind comments which encourages the volunteers and authors. We cant call Mr Patel our Guru though he considered us his beloved student, the reason is our knowledge is so limited we could not learn from him anything as he was too advanced in astrology but his love was and is so fulfilling that it automatically showered and opened the Jyotish Nadi especially after his demise, which is the greatest knowledge if rightly tuned if Guru wishes. The reason we dedicate last issue of the year in his name is he was so wronged by many stalwarts in astrology for the sake of money and fame. Last issue was big in order to bring to the notice of the astrologers in Jyotish that so much of material is pending, hidden and all must unite and work to get it out without thinking of name, organization or credit.
Warmest Regards

Saptarishis Astrology has completely changed the face of astrological research in the present era. Be it detailed research platform, be revealing ancient and obscure texts or be it a platform to showcase your genuine astrological talent, Saptarishis has created a brand name. They are detailed, hard-working and motivated individuals and there is not a name in modern astrological practice that would not want to associate with them. If something can be called as the future of astrology, then this it.

Dear Sir,
The book " Orbital Providence ' By Sri Satyanarayana Naik is amazing. His research on Nadi Technics based on our zodiac and earth's four important directions have been explained scientifically.I am actually eager to meet him when I come to India next time.
Another book "Essence of or Researches on Nadi Astrology Vol.-1 by Sri Prof.Negandhi is another marvelous book on Nadi secrets. He has explored most of Nadi secrets based on Saptarshi Nadi and other Nadi Granthas.I have tested some the planetary combinations he has mentioned in the book and they are true to my knowledge.
I wish both of them good health and Divine Blessings be ushered upon them to write more on Nadi Principles.

I have gone through a part of the magazine so far. as it is a very massive book (magazine) it requires atleast 3-4 months for an average student of astrology to read it. it is indeed an excellent work done. i appreciate the efforts put in to bring out the rare manuscripts translate them in english and provide for the benefit of the students. i can also understand the complexity involved in coordinating different sections of astrologers and bringing them on a common platform. i earnestly request the readers to practice the techniques given in the magazine on number of horoscopes to make themselves perfect on each of the techniques. i also take this opportunity that there should be atleast one or two articles for the benefit of beginners in astrology as all the articles in the magazine are for the students who have already travelled a certain distance in the pursuit of learning astrology.
